US Duct manufactures a such a wide variety of special application parts and custom designed solutions that we couldn’t possibly show you everything. Recently, we built a handy-dandy “Pull Chain Butterfly Valve.”
A butterfly valve is typically used to reduce or stop air flow in the duct. However, sometimes the location of the valve makes it difficult to reach and adjust. The addition of a fly wheel and a pull chain solves this problem. The attendant can adjust it from thier location and using the loops in the chain, secure the valve in the open % position needed. Adjustment is as easy as a pull or release.
It’s a small thing, in the world of Industrial Ductwork, but a smart solution. We’re kind of proud of it. It turned out rather nice, yes?
